I am a professional singer/songwriter and recording artist of pop, jazz, classic rock, standards, musical theatre, and my own songs. I've performed at various NY Catskill Mountain resorts/hotels and cabaret clubs, charitable events, and industrials. My song, There Are Angels, and my CD, On the Wings of Inspiration: 13 Meditations,  won several contests and music awards. Cheryl Metrick: Fantasy & Romance, is a recording of a live cabaret performance. Coming soon, a new musical I wrote containing all original songs, title t/b announced.

My book with coauthor, Jeree Wade, MA, On the Wings of Inspiration: Exploring Our Inner Life through Interpretive Symbols, is based on a collection of my drawings and poems.  It is somewhat autobiographical as it explores the interpretation of the art and then takes the reader on a journey to find personal meaning within. With Jeree's commentary, a guided process supports the reader to move into a more peaceful and centered place by understanding and implementing life's lessons.
